I am delighted to announce that my mobile apps for FlixPicker are officially ready for beta testing on both iOS and Android.
I started FlixPicker as a personal project to make finding, tracking, and sharing films much more enjoyable. Over the past few months, I have been building dedicated native apps from scratch using SwiftUI for iOS and Jetpack Compose for Android.
The core features are now ready, and I would love to get your thoughts and feedback before the official release.
What You Can Test in the Beta

- 📊 Film Logging and Recap Stories: Log what you watch, track your personal monthly and yearly viewing statistics, and generate shareable "Recap Wrapped" story cards for Instagram.
- 👥 Playlists and Playmate Collaboration: Organise your watchlists and invite friends as "Playmates" to build shared lists together in real time.
- 🏆 Trophy Room and Achievements: Earn badges and unlock milestone achievements as you explore cinema and log titles.
- 🌐 Community Feed and Curated Lists: Follow other film enthusiasts, view activity feeds, and explore curated collections.
- 🔒 One-Tap Sign In: Native Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In support.
How to Get the Beta
You can install the test build on your device using the links below:
